"HOW MANY GUESTS DOES THE VENUE ACCOMMODATE?"The Middleburg Barn can accomodate from 30 people to up to 350 people and even bigger on other parts of our farm!
"DO YOU INCLUDE TABLES AND CHAIRS?"
Yes, some packages includes tables, chairs, and cocktail tables. Additionally, we include MANY things in our packages here to make it easier on clients.
"HOW MANY HOURS IS THE RENTAL?" We provide options for one-day rentals, multiple-day rentals, or extended durations. Typically, events span a single day lasting approximately 10 hours to 12 hours, encompassing vendor setup, cocktail hour, dinner service, and dancing. Music must conclude by 11 pm in compliance with noise regulations, followed by a prompt commencement of cleanup to ensure all vendors have vacated the premises by midnight. Additional hours are permitted at an extra charge to accommodate the extended schedule.
"MY BUDGET: I’m uncertain about my budget. If I share it with you, I hope you won’t use up all my funds! :) I also don’t have a clear idea of pricing. Could you provide me with a rough estimate of what things typically cost?"We certainly don't want to deplete your funds, and our pricing remains unchanged regardless of your budget. We ask your budget so that we may help you navigate the costs associated with events in the Washington DC/ Metro area, including Northern Virginia and here in Loudoun County, without straining your resources. You may not be well-versed in pricing, particularly if it's the first time organizing an event. As specialists in this field, we are more than happy to provide you with pricing information.

We do not have hidden fees to make things confusing, we like to be very transparent to make things less stressful for our clients.
"WHAT YOUR CATERING OPTIONS AT THE MIDDLEBURG BARN?"We have established exclusive partnerships with three caterers who possess a deep understanding of our venue, maintain professional staffing, and have been meticulously selected to provide the utmost satisfaction for our clients.
Over the years, we have recognized the significance of offering quality food and a memorable experience for our clients and their guests. While some caterers have delivered exceptional service, others have encountered issues such as lack of preparation and inexperienced event staff. Instances of food shortages and mishandling of items have prompted us to prioritize reliability and excellence in our catering selections.
Our caterers provide comprehensive services, encompassing linens, china, glassware, staff, bartenders, food, setup, and cleanup within their pricing structure. Depending on the menu, staffing requirements, guest count, and beverage options, pricing typically ranges from $120 to $200 per person.
"DO WE NEED A PLANNER FOR OUR EVENT?"Yes, regardless of the event you have planned, our venue mandates the presence of a dedicated planner to oversee operations. This essential requirement aims to prevent errors, confusion, and stress.
Collaborating with a team of seasoned professionals, we have partnered with a reputable planning firm committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Our appointed planner commences their services for clients 6-8 weeks before the event, acting as the primary point of contact between the venue, clients, and vendors. With years of experience, they specialize in orchestrating successful events, allowing clients to fully immerse themselves in the occasion. Their responsibilities encompass coordinating with vendors, establishing timelines, creating floor plans, conducting walkthrough meetings, and overseeing operations from the event's inception to its conclusion.
Even if you already have a planner, our designated planning partner must be engaged to support them as a "day-of coordinator," particularly if they are unfamiliar with our venue. Ensuring the success of your event remains our utmost priority.
"WE HAVE FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS WHO CAN HELP WITH FOOD, DECORATION AND PLANNING. IS THAT ALLOWED?"Similar to other businesses, we find that engaging professionals with their own insurance, who specialize in their respective fields, yields optimal results for us. Our vendors possess in-depth knowledge of our venue, prompting us to abstain from providing a 'do-it-yourself' alternative at our location.
"WE ARE DOING A SOUTH ASIAN/INDIAN WEDDING, CAN WE BRING IN OUR OWN CATERER?"We have hosted several South Asian Weddings.

Among the exceptional amenities offered are fully heated and air-conditioned facilities, elegantly designed restrooms, private suites with dedicated bathrooms, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
One distinctive feature of The Middleburg Barn is its ambient lighting, setting a unique ambiance to set the mood for events. Additionally, our venue is equipped with a full electrical transfer switch, ensuring uninterrupted power supply during unforeseen circumstances such as power outages due to inclement weather. This feature provides reassurance, allowing events to proceed seamlessly without the need for cancellations.

"ARE THERE ANIMALS ON YOUR PROPERTY?"We are a horse property with a profound legacy deeply rooted in equestrian pursuits. While our farm accommodates three horses, they are situated away from our event barn, ensuring that guests with allergies can attend without concern. Should you desire our horses to be integrated into your event, for an additional fee, we offer the service of bathing and grooming them to provide a pristine and enjoyable experience for your guests—rest assured, our horses are impeccably maintained, free from dust and dirt.
We are also home to two pet swans, Fred and Ginger. Despite their friendly nature, they tend to keep their distance from guests, typically staying near the lake or by the dock.
"WHERE EXACTLY ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE THE CLOSEST ACCOMMODATIONS?"
Our venue boasts a prime location along Route 50, ensuring convenient accessibility for guests seeking accommodations. Merely a two-minute drive to the west lies the charming town of Middleburg, offering abundant lodging options. To the east, the nearest hotel is approximately a ten-minute drive away. For out-of-town guests arriving at Dulles Airport, a straightforward 20-minute drive will bring them to our location.
